Removing “Recovered Audio” files from OmniOutliner 1 for iPad documents

If you open this article on your iOS Device and then tap the link below, it should take care of the recovered audio file.

Delete recovered audio files

OmniOutliner 1.5.3 for iPad addresses a bug with audio recording on iOS 7 which would result in these “Recovered Audio” files getting stuck in documents. The above link to delete the audio file will get rid of any recordings that are currently stuck in the app, and updating to 1.5.3 should prevent the issue from happening again.

If you’re running OmniOutliner 1.5.2 or earlier, this support article provides steps for updating to OmniOutliner 1.5.3, since that version is no longer listed for sale in the App Store.

This issue should be fixed in OmniOutliner 2. If you’re experiencing otherwise, please let us know!
