When “Available on the iBooks Store” Doesn’t Apply to You

When we first started releasing our documentation and tutorials on Apple’s iBooks Store, we thought we had everyone covered. However, as some of you may have noticed, “Available on the iBooks Store” doesn’t apply to everyone. We quickly discovered a growing list of countries that do have an iBooks Store, and yet we do not have the ability to release books there. We have received reports that our books aren’t showing up in the iBooks Store in the following countries:

  • China
  • Croatia
  • Hong Kong
  • India
  • Israel
  • Malaysia
  • Russia
  • Singapore
  • South Africa
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand
  • Turkey
  • Ukraine

Rest assured, The Omni Group is publishing our books to every country that we’re allowed to—51 of them, in fact. We have let Apple know of our desire to publish books in every country where there is an iBooks Store, and we’ll keep you posted as other countries open up to us.

If you cannot find our books in your country’s iBooks Store, please feel free to grab an iBooks-compatible and DRM-free EPUB file from our documentation page, by selecting the Download EPUB option.
