Look up your OmniFocus sync password

If you’ve forgotten your Omni Account password used to sync with the Omni Sync Server, but have a copy of OmniFocus that is still syncing, then you can simply look up your current password instead of resetting it. Here is how to do this:

OmniFocus 4

Mac, iPhone, and iPad

1. In OmniFocus, go to Settings > Sync > Sync.
2. Click or tap Reveal Stored Password.

OmniFocus 3

iPhone and iPad

1. In OmniFocus, go to Settings > Sync.
2. Tap Reveal Stored Password.

Mac

1. Open Keychain Access.app.
2. Type in “omnigroup” in the Search field.
3. Look for an entry like this: https://sync.omnigroup.com|username|Omni Sync
4. Double-click on a matching entry.
5. Click the Show Password checkbox.
6. Enter your Mac’s user account password when prompted.
