If you’ve forgotten your Omni Account password used to sync with the Omni Sync Server, but have a copy of OmniFocus that is still syncing, then you can simply look up your current password instead of resetting it. Here is how to do this:

- In OmniFocus, go to Settings > Sync > Sync.
- Click or tap Reveal Stored Password.

- In OmniFocus, go to Settings > Sync.
- Tap Reveal Stored Password.

- Open Keychain Access.app.
- Type in “omnigroup” in the Search field.
- Look for an entry like this:
https://sync.omnigroup.com|username|Omni Sync - Double-click on a matching entry.
- Click the Show Password checkbox.
- Enter your Mac’s user account password when prompted.
