How to modify the Print style sheet in OmniFocus 4

OmniFocus’ print template is styled using CSS. If OmniFocus finds a printing style sheet called HTMLExportTemplate.html in its sandboxed Application Support directory, it will use this instead of the standard template. If you’re familiar with using CSS, you can make your own adjustments to customize the print layout.

Any changes you make to the your HTMLExportTemplate.html file will be used upon your next print. If you want to go back to the default, just remove that file from that folder and OmniFocus will go back to using its built-in settings.

Here we’ve provided few stylesheet templates to help you get started:

Default Print Template:
As the name suggests, this is a copy of the print template OmniFocus 4 uses by defualt, which you can use as a starting point for your own customizations.

OmniFocus 3 Print Template:
As the name suggests, this is a copy of the print template from the previous version of OmniFocus.

All Black Print Template:
Changes the value of the --secondary-label and --tertiary-label color variables to #333333, so all text appears black.

No Metadata Print Template:
Sets display: none on all metadata (project, tags, defer date, due date, and notes), providing a more compact list of just task titles.

Happy editing!
