Using OmniGraffle’s 100% Zoom setting

In OmniGraffle 6 Pro, we added the ability to set the display zoom level of 100 percent to reflect One Apple point, One screen pixel, or One PostScript point for work on Retina displays and true WYSIWYG work, to best fit your printing needs or screen pixel density. As part of the Pro feature set, this setting is controlled from the Canvas:Size Inspector, via the 100% Zoom menu.

By default, OmniGraffle uses the One Apple point setting. On a non-Retina display, the One screen pixel setting and the One Apple Point setting will be the same. On a Retina display, an Apple point equals four screen pixels, measuring two pixels per side.

The PostScript point setting means 1 point = 1/72 inch if you want a WYSIWYG size defined. To better understand the use of this setting, switch to inches or cm and grab a business card or ruler. One inch on your display will equal 1 inch on your canvas/paper output.
