Purchases made in the Mac App Store are tied directly to the Apple ID used for the purchase. The Mac App Store versions of our apps are functionally identical to the Omni Store version, except it’s automatically licensed using your Apple ID, and does not require a separate license key.
As long as you are using the same Apple ID and are in the same country as the original purchase, Apple allows you to reinstall any of your previous purchases for free.
Reasons why you might not see an Omni app in your App Store purchase history
- A different Apple ID was used for the purchase.
- The purchase was made using a different App Store country.
- The purchase has been hidden in the App Store.
- You purchased the app directly from our Omni Store, which is an entirely separate storefront that the Mac App Store does not track.
