OmniPresence is a great solution for keeping track of all of your documents, but some features of macOS aren’t currently synced by OmniPresence. Here’s a list of items which won’t be carried from device to device along with the files themselves:
- Finder tags (OS X Mavericks and later)
- Extension visibility
- Custom icons
- Label color
- Aliases (aliases are transferred, but do not work on other Macs)
- “Always Open With”
- The Finder’s “Locked” flag
- The Finder’s “Stationery Pad” flag
- The Finder’s “Invisible” flag
- The Finder’s “Busy” flag
