All of our currently shipping Mac apps have been updated for compatibility with macOS Monterey and run natively on both Macs with Apple silicon and Intel-based Macs. Pro editions of each app also support automation with Shortcuts on Mac, through integration with Omni Automation. We will update this page as we learn new information about app compatibility.
The following app versions and later have been updated for compatibility with macOS Monterey:
OmniFocus 3.12 for Mac
- Full range of Shortcuts actions supported, including Omni Automation actions.
- All known Monterey compatibility issues resolved as of 3.12.2.
OmniGraffle 7.19 for Mac
- Shortcuts actions for Omni Automation supported.
- All known Monterey compatibility issues resolved as of 7.19.1.
OmniOutliner 5.9 for Mac
- Shortcuts actions for Omni Automation supported.
- All known Monterey compatibility issues resolved as of 5.9.1.
OmniPlan 4.3 for Mac
- Shortcuts actions for Omni Automation supported.
- All known Monterey compatibility issues resolved as of 4.3.2.
Previous Versions
The only versions of our products which are officially supported on macOS Monterey are the currently shipping universal releases and later (as listed above). Anyone who owns a previous version of any of our apps is eligible for a 50% discount when upgrading to the latest version. We’ve worked to address all known compatibility issues with the shipping versions of our apps on macOS Monterey (see the status of their latest updates above). We have not extensively tested older versions of our apps on macOS Monterey, and we strongly recommend upgrading to the latest versions of our apps whenever upgrading to any new versions of the operating system.
The following older app versions have known issues with macOS Monterey:
OmniPlan 3.14.4 for Mac
- Issues may be encountered when using OmniPlan 3 with macOS Monterey to print or export outlines and network diagrams.
